On August 30th, 2019, Beyond Bilingual Inc. acquired Anne Whitten Bilingual Recruitment Inc. This historic move brought together two of Toronto’s leading bilingual recruitment agencies.
Post-acquisition, Anne Whitten maintains its distinct brand and operational structure. Both organizations now have access to an expanded network of qualified candidates and job opportunities. In addition, both brands share resources while maintaining their established client relationships and areas of expertise.
Afsi Varasteh, current President of Beyond Bilingual Inc., has assumed the role of President at Anne Whitten.

Background
Anne Whitten’s founder, Anne Whitten, started the company in 1974 as a translation agency. At clients’ ongoing requests for English/French-speaking personnel, the agency was transformed into Toronto’s first dedicated bilingual search firm. Quality, value, and personalized service have always been a cornerstone of the firm, and we remain committed to these principles. Anne retired in 2006 and the agency was owned by Suzanne Hague until 2019 when it was sold to Beyond Bilingual Inc.
